Aerial Tree Inspections

An aerial inspection of a tree may be required where further survey or assessment has been recommended by a ground level tree assessment. Aerial inspections can provide a clearer categorisation of suitability and are also required throughout the year to determine presence / absence of bat roosts where suitability has been confirmed.

Aerial inspection can be undertaken year round to determine or categorise bat roost suitability of a tree.

To determine bat presence or absence, survey visits must be at least three weeks apart and in cases where only summer roosting suitability has been identified, these visits are required between May - September inclusively.
